  • informs and educates employers, workers and the public about their rights and responsibilities regarding state labor standards laws through high quality and professional communications;
  • conducts complaint intake and assessment through worker interaction and interviews;
  • provides direct and immediate assistance to workers seeking help to secure their final wages from their former employers;
  • investigates complaints against employers to determine whether wage theft violations have occurred; and
  • assists employers to comply with state labor standards laws using formal and informal investigation, mediation, and compliance techniques.
